The Columns on Clinton - B&B is located in Philadelphia, Penn., in a historic district characterized by period street lamps from the 1830s. The bed and breakfast is one block from the Antique Row Business District, six blocks from Independence Hall and seven blocks from the Pennsylvania Convention Center. This home was built in 1856 as a Federal townhouse, and was renovated in 1878 to include a grand staircase crowned by a lead glass skylight. The Columns on Clinton - B&B serves complimentary continental breakfasts each morning. The lower level of the house contains a dining room and parlor. Pets are not allowed.Guestrooms at The Columns on Clinton - B&B are centered around a small atrium and staircase. Most rooms feature decorative fireplaces, antique furniture and original works of art. Three of the six guestrooms include private bathrooms. Bathrooms contain showers or shower/tub combinations. Rooms are decorated in themes reflecting Philadelphia's history. Bedding includes 100-percent cotton sheets.
